Maundy Thursday is a remembering of Jesus’ last meal with his disciples before His arrest and crucifixion. Participating in Maundy Thursday can make Easter Sunday so much more vibrant and meaningful!
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner – Tuesday, March 5th from 6-8pm We are hosting our neighbors and friends for a traditional Shrove Tuesday (AKA Mardi Gras!) pancake supper. We need you to share the invitation with your friends & family AND sign up to volunteer. Why do we eat pancakes on Shrove Tuesday? Because people used to abstain from butter, milk, eggs and meat during Lent (the six weeks before Easter), and to use all of that up, they would have a community party with pancakes as the main event.
